New Salem's Children's Church will never be the same!
That's right, we have remolded the building and restructred the format
of Children's Church. Beginning Sunday, September 12,
kids in grades K - 5th will get a taste of a Hollywood studio
as they see the Bible come to life like never before.
Join the Director, Haywood, Heather DeShay, and Joe Nitro
for Big City Studio.
Also, we will have a program just for pre-schoolers (3-4 year olds) called Critterland.
The youngsters will join Loony Bird on an adventure where they will
discover the Big Idea from God's Word.
On August 28, seventeen kids went out to the ol' ballgame for an evening of fun.

We're putting a whole new spin on Children's Church!
Let kids worship... like kids! That’s what Worship KidStyle is all about. Fun music videos with motions lift hearts and hands to God. Attention-holding, life application videos tell stories kids can relate to! The entire hour is centered around learning God's Word and how to have an exciting relationship with Jesus. It all happens in the Children's Church Building at 10:45 every Sunday morning just after Sunday School. Whether you are in pre-school or 5th grade, you will always have a good time while learning about Jesus!
Wednesday Night Alive
We are currently going through a study about music on
Wednesday evenings. We begin at 7:00 pm with a fun game.
Next, we transition into the lesson where we discuss two songs
that the kids picked out a few weeks ago.
Finally, there is a fun game the last fifteen minutes -
kickball, dodgeball, etc.
The evening concludes with prayer and reflection around 8:00 pm.

Wow! There were 11 kids who accepted Jesus as their Savior at VBS this year! Thank you to all of the volunteers who helped make this year a success!
